Steels for Quenching and Tempering

Quenching and tempering is a heat treatment process used to increase surface hardness and toughness, as well as achieving high mechanical properties and ductility. The process modifies the steel structure through controlled heating and rapid cooling.

STILMA carries out quenching and tempering according to international reference standards such as UNI and ISO and can also produce according to customer specifications.
